  1. I`m not really sure, but I`d like to see more demons and angels, and maybe aliens :)
    Thanks for this giveaway!

  2. I like dystopian and contemporary novels more than paranormal. It's just that most of them have annoying characters or they plain suck. But if I had to choose I would go with psychic abilities. Hope my honest opinion helps. :)

  3. Thanks for the giveaway! I like the good old werewolf books!

  4. I think we've mostly seen vampire/werewolf/angel/demon ones so it would be nice to see books featuring the other paranormal creatures like aliens :)

  5. I haven't read too many about aliens, and I think I would like to read more of that.

  7. Yeah, I'm tired of the vamp/were/angel/demon books. There are a few books I've seen that deal with goblins, sirens, and wraiths but I'd always like more of the unusual, especially with those as the main focus instead of sidekick to the usual vamp/were/angel/demon.

    1. Oh, I forgot add: I like aliens. I've dealt more with them because I read sci-fi as well. That's where aliens are usually found. What would be the difference between a sci-fi alien book and a paranormal alien book? Or are they the same?

I have no idea, but how ever it gets classified I'm good with seeming a bit more. Aliens, to me, seem more uncommon than rare. I want more rare stuff brought our for more diversity personally.

    2. It's a good question, Brooke. I'm not sure really - I think it all depends on marketing. SF is very hard to market, even in YA, but for some reason the same story labeled paranormal does better. It's perception, I think.

    3. Yeah, that makes sense but it sucks because there are some great sci-fi out there. There's a lot of reading dystopians lately, which is a sub-genre of science fiction so I'd hope more people would be open to science fiction due to that.

  15. I'd like to see more futuristic where humans form new abilities. I love YA Paranormal books. Thinking back on my favorites, I would have to go with "Poison Study" and "Cinder." In "Poison Study," there is an unexpected romance with real, deep character development. I love the character of Valek. He appears to be inhuman only to be one of the very human characters in the story. In "Cinder," I appreciate how closely the author followed the fairytale of 'Cinderella' without being confined by it. There was still a lot of freedom in Marissa Meyer's universe and I kept find myself wondering how is she going to fit that into this story?
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  16. I'd love to read more paranormal on powers (superheroes), werewolves, ghosts and hunters! Preferably in combos. Like...werewolves hunting mummies in Egypt (vampires makes a little more sense, though), or ghosts with powers hunting something (criminals)...I adore zany combinations.
